Metal Repairs for Apartments and Commercial Properties
A loose handrail, a bent guard, or a rotted-out stair tread is a safety problem and a liability. It usually gets flagged by an inspector or a tenant, and it needs to be fixed soon.
We repair these items for apartment communities, property managers, and commercial owners in Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, and Utah counties. Most repairs start with a few photos and a count. Send us pictures of the damage and tell us how many posts or treads are involved, and we will put together a written quote.
We work with the people who run the property, not only the owner. If you manage several buildings, send us the list and we can quote them together. Every repair is welded, fitted, and left safe to use. We also build new railings, stairs, ladders, and bollards when a repair is not enough.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get a quote?
Send photos of the damage and a count of the posts, treads, or rail sections involved. Quotes are provided on request, in writing, once we have what we need. Call (801) 200-9371 or email cruz@tjweldfab.com.
Do I need to be there when you look at it?
Not to start. Photos and a count are usually enough for a first quote. If you would rather have it looked at in person, book a visit and Cruz will come out, look at the work with you, and quote it on the spot or in writing after.
Can you quote more than one building or property at a time?
Yes. Send a list of addresses with photos and counts for each, and we will quote them together or one at a time, whichever you prefer. Quotes are provided on request.
Can you fix railings after an inspection notice or a tenant complaint?
Yes. Tell us what the notice says and send photos. We will quote the repair to address what was flagged. Quote on request, with no obligation.
Are you licensed?
Yes. TJ Welding Fabrication is licensed in Utah, DOPL #13678034-5501.
